It’s weird how history changes things. At the time the people seeing him hated this song. Bob really pissed off the folk establishment and I know for a fact if I were there I would have most likely been one of the people booing. Now I look back at this and look at it as one of the most powerful performances of one of the greatest songs ever made. (Source: nicams)

To my beloved scooter girl
Too many times I see someone and get this weird overbearing crush, only to have myself talk myself out of it. That was the case with scooter girl. Not really, this thing was kinda a joke from the start, but even the idealized girl that I glorified in my mind served as a good muse. It was a sunny summer Saturday where I saw you first That day on west campus you systematically found me at my worst Starstruck, my pulse firing faster than the cranks of your vespas’ pistons Heart racing, skin tingling, your beauty was the bait and you were unintentionally fishing Like a school boy a shouted, eager to tell the world Like Columbus I unintentionally found a new continent, there you were my pearl Soon I found out you were of Feldmen kin, and knew that our clans were mortal enemies A blood feud our camps have, and my heart cried out what shame, oh the agony I did what I had to though, I hoped I hoped, like the north star it lead me through the night I knew that if I followed that faint star, a glorious sunrise would be just to my right Your long blonde hair, your elegance, out of every girl in fish camp it’s you that I choose Your beauty is a song, and it is in your eyes that I am tangled up in blue As summer wanes, the days get shorter, the leaves begin to fall The sun may set, but know I stand guard, your beauty a castle, and I your wall.
